Pallet printing is also environmentally friendly: the non-contact printing process requires no rollers, plates or adhesives, meaning less material is required and less waste is produced than traditional printing. Additionally, the overall carbon footprint of pallet printing is very low. Compared with electrophotographic printing, pallet printing is not limited by printing speed and width. Base printing also offers higher performance in terms of lamination, physical and chemical resistance, and greater flexibility in ink composition.
Our water-based ink is optimized to support our sustainable (and especially recyclable) packaging solutions: not only does it enable very thin and flexible ink layers, it also emits very low VOCs during the printing process. It contains key raw materials such as oil, sulfate esters and photoinitiators, and contains a high proportion of renewable raw materials – more than 50%.
UV Inkjet printing is an area with broad prospects and is one of the keys for the packaging and printing industry to meet future efficient challenges. With the continuous advancement of technology, infill printing will be able to achieve customized production more accurately and realistically, while also becoming more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
